Bear in the Air - Suffolk
ExpiredBear Grylls, the Chief Scout, visited Suffolk Scouts today as part of the "Bear in the Air" tour for the East of England. His first port of call in Suffolk was at Landguard Fort, Felixstowe where he arrived in a fire truck with his family and then went on to meet Scouts, Explorers and leaders as well as members of the public who were visiting the Fort. Whilst he was chatting to the Scouts and inspecting their ballistas, he was kept busy signing neckerchiefs and other items.
BBC Radio Suffolk managed to grab a few words about Scouting and persuaded Bear and everyone else to recite the Scout Promise. Listen to Rob Dunger's show on Sunday 13th to see what happened.
