I wish Steve, Jo, Max and Alex every success as they take up their important appointments within Suffolk Scouts. I am sure that they would all join me in thanking and congratulating their predecessors (Hilary Prior, Acting DC Waveney; Mel Buck, DC Lowestoft; Martin Agar, DC Orwell; and Gary Burden, DC Deben) for all that they have done whilst in office.

The CMAT team have announced that the Summer Wild Camp in Snowdonia based at the Chamois Centre planned for the weekend 7th-9th July 2023 has unfortunately now been CANCELLED due to lack of numbers.

We are running a Skills for Residential Experiences (38) course on 23rd & 24th September 2023 at Hallowtree. This will be preceded by 2 Zoom sessions on 6th and 15th September. To complete this learning all sessions must be attended.

The Scouts Heritage Service has an exhibition called Growing Up, Digging Deep: the story of Scouts, Food and Farming at the Food Museum in Stowmarket.
The exhibition includes plates decorated by Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs from Stowmarket District.
