The County Commissioner recently met with a group of young Scout Network members on a cold, dark, windy night. Worse, this was on Felixstowe beach.
However, the eagerness and enthusiasm of the young people soon dispelled the effects of the weather. We were all there to see a dozen young hopefuls be invested. In the end, 11 were invested on the beach and one in the local pub to which we rapidly transferred. The photos may not capture the atmosphere but everyone enjoyed the experience. Jenny wishes them well for their future in Scouting.
