The Scout Association is seeking a new Regional Commissioner for the East of England.

The role of a Regional Commissioner is rewarding and an opportunity to develop yourself. You will have the opportunity to meet young people and adults whose lives have been changed by Scouting, and to inspire and help Counties and Districts grow and deliver even more exciting and adventurous activities to even more young people.

Working as both a member of the Headquarters team you will help translate Scouting’s 2018 Vision into reality and help take Scouting to the next level.

Volunteer role

The role of Regional Commissioner is a volunteer role, and is flexible in terms of how it is filled. For example this could be a job share, joint appointment or a Deputy and Regional Commissioner covering the role requirements together.

As a Regional Commissioner you will be responsible for ensuring support and leadership of the six volunteer County Commissioners in the East of England, and this will be in partnership with the staff of the Regional Development Service, who are all full time employees of the Scout Association.
