Members will have knowledge across a wide breadth of Scouting rather than being primarily safety specialists.
The work of the team is likely to vary, but will mainly focus on providing support to local Scouting on implementing the safety policy and working on resources and articles to promote safety within the Scouting programme and activities.
Following recent feedback from managers in Scouting, the Working Group's first tasks will include:

- Providing clearer information regarding risk assessment and practical examples.
- Developing case examples of managing significant risk.
- Pulling together examples of good practice in local Scouting.
