Hi, I'm Nicola and I'm the Assistant Cub Scout leader at Leavenheath Cubs and we meet every Tuesday during term time at Leavenheath Village Hall. This term at Cubs we have been mainly working on our activities badges and our programme has helped to make this achievable. Over the last couple of months we have achieved our hobbies, collectors, emergency aid, naturalist, home help and pet carer badges, so we have been very busy.
Due to the dark cold nights we have been in the village hall for our meeting but we still have great fun, so as well as gaining our badges we had a very spooky trip to Colchester zoo for Halloween, a Halloween party and a few sparklers and hotdogs for Guy Fawkes night.
We have 28 cubs in our group who are very committed and enjoy learning new skills and taking part in different experiences.
