TROG Duff the Stuffing event, Sunday 30th December 2012.
Having just completed the final Risk Assessment it has gone from medium to high risk, I took my bike out with the least knobbles on the tyres to give myself the greatest handicap and it was un-rideable in places for me, so to expect newbies and novices to be able to ride safely and enjoy the experience would be a disaster waiting to happen. Due to the awful wet weather we are experiencing, the decision has been made to cancel this event, the safety risk is far too great.
Jenny's Xmas Journal - 2012
ExpiredStowmarket District Carol service on the 8th was superb. The church was full of Christmas trees all lit up. I loved the Stowmarket version of the twelve days of Christmas. Then it was on to join 1st Westerfield at their Carol service where I presented Joan Gibson with the Chief Scout’s commendation. The youngsters, with the help of the leaders, had organised the service, which was lovely. The mince pies were good as well.
